Hide paste, for bonding tanned skins to (PU) mannikins.
High-strength hide glue for professional use. This glue is intended for taxidermy; the product is ready to use.
Using a brush, apply an even layer of glue to the roughened, dust- and wax-free (PU) form. Place the tanned hide and slide it into position. Secure the hide with pins. Working time approx. 1 hour; drying time 2 to 3 days, depending on humidity, temperature, skin thickness and the amount of glue applied. The glue can be diluted with water as required. Clean tools and glue stains with water.
To maintain product quality, close the opened bucket tightly after use. Once opened, the product has a limited shelf life (a few months). If the adhesive dries out slightly or becomes too stiff, add a little water using a plant sprayer and mix thoroughly. Do not expose to freezing temperatures, heat or direct sunlight. Store at room temperature in a tightly sealed container.
