Brass brush with soft wire to clean delicate (bird) skins
Replacement brush for your brushing machine, soft version specially designed for degreasing and brushing bird skins and thin mammalian skins.
Made of corrugated wire with a thickness of approx. 0,20 mm (narrow brush) and approx. 0,25 mm (wide brush). The brush wires are brass plated to protect them against corrosion. Diameter of the narrow brush is approx. 70 mm, width approx. 13 mm (working surface).
Tip: a new brush always has sharp wire ends. To remove these sharp points (burrs), we recommend that you first have the new brush brushed against an (untreated) piece of wood. This reduces the chance that a burst will tear the skin of your animal to be prepared.
