L9 small mammals tanning liquid

L9 is used for the tanning of smaller skins of mammals up to fox size, with the aim of preparing the animal. Available in packs of ½, 1 and 5 litres.

Instructions:

• After skinning, place the skin in cold water for 2 to 4 hours so that the blood can drain well
• Then wash the skin with L5 detergent
• Thoroughly centrifuge the skin
• Fill the flesh side of the skin with L9 with a brush
• Fold the skin together and allow the tanning to settle for 2 to 6 hours. Then centrifugate
• Then you can thinly cut the skin
• If necessary, repeat the application with L9 once
• Clean (refine) with (medium or coarse) beech sawdust until the (under) coat is thoroughly dry
• The parts that can not be treated with a brush, such as tail and legs, inject with a syringe filled with L9

Tanning agents affect skin structures, wear liquid-proof gloves!
